All products purchased through The Salty Merchants web store are sent out in wholesome, old fashion class!
Your packages will be delivered in a protective and stylish packaging of card, brown paper, twine and other unnecessary but aesthetic embellishments.
This is particularly pleasing if you wish to have sent direct as a gift.. Or have forgot what you ordered.
POSTAGE SERVICES
The merchants use various mules to achieve the job of delivery.
Australia Post
- For all PO BOX and express orders the Merchants us Australia Post.
- We do not supply tracking unless requested by the customer.
Fastway Couriers. (large orders)
- PLEASE SUPPLY YOUR PHONE NUMBER - it will only be used for delivery purposes.
- Fastway will be used to most NON PO BOX addresses in Australia.
- Shipping time through fast way varies on location.
- For East coast Australia expect between 2-3 from dispatch,
- For Victoria and Sa 3-5 and for WA expect 7-10 days.
Dispatch
The Salty Merchants try their best to dispatch goods within 24 hours of purchase - given the product is available. Please be aware as we are using 3rd party services and could be subject to unwanted delay. If in the unlikely occasion of delay we will do our best to resolve any issue and contact you as required.
RETURN POLICY
We accept returns on all faulty or un-satisfactory products. Please get in touch via email to lach@thesaltymerchants.com at any time if you would like to refund or swap and we will make the necessary arrangements.

Although we will always honour faulty or unsatisfactory products; returns made without legitimate reason are at the discretion of the Salty Merchants.
Without legitimate reason for product return (faulty or unsatisfactory), either for refund or replacement the return costs are at the expense of the customer, including; Postage and handling, bank and or transfer fees. Please be aware a transaction rate of 2.75% + $0.30 for each transaction will be deducted from the refunded amount.
